How We're Helping
WellVentions, a job ready training and career exposure program, is administered by ProsperRochester, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit social enterprise organization.
Over the past 10 years, we have guided aspiring Rochester youth to develop products and manage the business at the Rochester Public Market. This “Mini Me Mart” serves as a vital career training ground as student-employees test, market, and ultimately complete sales to support their mission. During this process, they develop the “social/emotional” and business skills needed to become valued employees in the workforce and contributing citizens in their community. To date, over $125,000 in products have been sold; from pasta, sauce, smoothie, mask, and puppet sales. Profits have been reinvested in training, student stipends, and new product development.

We are extremely proud of all of the youth who have been involved in the WellVentions program. Whether they're inventing new recipes to evolve the WellVentions business training model for future generations, supporting suicide prevention with an act of kindness and 3+ million supporters, working on a Trauma Healing App so youth can access their safety plan quickly, or starting a food pantry; Wellventions youth are contributing to our community, With your help, their legacy will live on!
