An Attorney and founder of Security Mortgage Group Corporation, Gerry presently serves on various Boards such as the Rochester Housing Development Fund Corporation, supporting the rehabilitation of vacant homes for first time City home buyers. He is also a local partner with WINN Development Corporation on the Sibley Square redevelopment project.

SHIRA GOLDBERG

A special education teacher and accomplished facilitator and trainer, Shira worked for the Rochester City School District for over 30 years. She retired in 2014 and now works part-time for Nazareth College mentoring student teachers, and at Vertus high school, a leading Rochester Charter School.

DR. TERENCE D. GIPSON

Dr. Terence D. Gipson is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York where he teaches coursework in health policy, management, biostatistics, and evaluation. His research largely focuses on the quality improvement and accessibility of healthcare for underrepresented and vulnerable populations. In 2011, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation selected Dr. Gipson as a Gates Millennium Scholar for his commitment to advancing public health globally. Over the past decade, Dr. Gipson has led teams of health professionals on several community-based interventions to address service delivery gaps in maternal and child health throughout Latin America, including in Peru, Mexico, Belize, and Costa Rica.
